Be True to Yourself
Craig at Pursuit of Happiness Blog has a great post about The Greatest Success Tip Ever.
Be true to yourself. What is it that makes you tick? What is your true passion? Figure it out and go for it. What is it that you would do for free and never grow tired of? That is the thing that you will excel at because you have the passion!
How do you find what your passionate about? Create a list of the things you have always loved to do. Think back to your childhood of the things you would spend your time doing and daydreaming about.

Look over your list and begin thinking of ways to manifest these passions in your life. Begin by seeking others who share your passion. Join a club, or take classes, and share your ideas. In turn, you will be inspired by the work of others, and that inspiration will motivate you to try new things. Your passion will grow stronger daily if you nurture it. Also, by joining a group, you will have an opportunity to talk to others about generating income from your interests.
Find happiness in your life doing what you love and the money will follow.
I know that I have spent the last twenty years of my life defeating myself on this issue. I have told myself (and anyone else who would listen) that “You cannot make a living doing what you love.” I could not have been anymore defeating than that.
I recently changed this defeating saying to more of an affirmation. “I am making a happy, lucrative living doing everything I love.” Hopefully I can quickly repair the damage that the previous mindset has created in my life.
As Craig says, you must be true to yourself and you will succeed in life and happiness.
