Graditude and Your Divine Order

About a week ago I created my own Divine Order. What is a Divine Order you ask?

According to K-L at be Conscious now, a Divine Order is simply stating clearly and with intention what you want. It can be done many ways and you can tweak the process to whatever fits you best. It is best to write it down in exact detail, what you are visualizing. (When writing the Divine Order don’t think about “how” just focus on the end result.

She recommends you set time aside for yourself, it can be an hour, an afternoon, an entire day or even a weekend. Spend that time getting in touch with what YOU really want, not your ego self, that is swayed by peers, family and outside influence.

Your Divine Order needs to come from your heart. So, you need to get in touch with your Self before you can really create. You must see your Divine Order finished and give thanks to the Universe/God/Goddess. It is the Law of Attraction. Create the image and see it already done.

One of the the most important things about creating your Divine Order is giving gratitude for your intentions. Once you complete the Divine Order fold it up and put it away. Now thank the Universe/God/Goddess for what you have and give thanks for what you are manifesting in your Divine Order like it is already yours. Whenever it pops in your mind give thanks.

Thanks K-L for your great advise. I am planning to share my Divine Order in the near future.

A Prayer for Jessie Davis

I want to take a moment and say a prayer for Jessie Davis and her family. Jessie is missing . She is 26 years old and 9 months pregnant.

Sometime last week she disappeared from her home in North Canton, Ohio leaving her 2 year old son behind. If you would like, please take a moment and prayer for her and her family. We may not be able to help find her but our prayers can help just as much!

Dear God,

Protect Jessie from harm, bring her and her unborn baby home safely. Lord, give her family strength! Help them get through this most difficult time with more courage then they ever thought they had. Let them know that you are with them. Keep them together and keep them strong. Amen

The Secret Part 2: Meet “Pos-o” and “Nego”

Last week, I started and finished The Secret by Rhonda Bryne and I loved it. I had a great week and will have many more … forever!

The book was exactly what I have been asking for. I recently was questioning my thinking. I was trying to manifest good things in my life but I was having trouble getting past my negative self-talk. I would say positive things and then my little voice would say, “but you can’t afford that.”

I call the little voice “Nego”. It has been holding me back for years. Recently, I was struggling with how to break it because it was telling the truth. How could I stop the madness? How do I talk to myself positively and achieve the things I wanted? I kept asking the Universe, God, even my husband. I have been waiting for an answer.

I got my answer in The Secret. The Law of Attraction is the “secret”. Like attracts like so, when “Nego” would tell me I couldn’t afford anything I believed it and attracted more thoughts of not affording my needs and wants.

Last Monday I started reading the book. I read half the book that first night. It was so powerful I felt an excitement inside of me that I haven’t felt in a long time (you know, like butterflies in your stomach). The really exciting thing was that it answered my question.

It wasn’t necessarily new information but it put all the things I knew about positive mental attitude together and gave me the secret to make them all work.

That night I couldn’t fall asleep (actually there have been many sleepless nights since then) because it got my mind running and motivated. I was imagining all the great things in my life. Somethings I already have and somethings I will have very soon.

I finished the book on Tuesday evening and learned about gratitude. Thanking God and the Universe for everything you have and everything you will have. I slept a little better the second night but I woke and got busy thanking God and the Universe for all the great things in my life before my feet even hit the floor. I do this any way but it feels so much more powerful now.

As my mind has been focusing on the postive, I am noticing that I pay attention to everything I say. If a say a sentence in conversation with someone (or to myself), I stop myself when the word NOT (or any other form of it, i.e. can’t) is in the sentence. I then replace that sentence with a positive sentence sometimes meaning the same thing but positive or something completely different. I analyze the sentence and sometimes conclude that it was a statement taking me in the wrong direction completely.

I cannot tell you how much better I feel. I know that I have used the principles of The Secret in my life many times before. I just didn’t know I was doing something so powerful and attracting the great things I received.

I mentioned old “Nego” earlier, well my new, big voice that I hear is “Pos-o” (pronounced pawso). “Pos’o” tells me great things. “Pos’o” loves me and knows that I can do anything because I have achieved great things many times before.

I am using visualization to change my thinking too. I see “Pos-o” in my mind as a stick figure with a big happy face in yellow. “Nego” is also a stick figure with a frown face in blue. “Pos-o” doesn’t care much for “Nego”, whenever “Nego” pops in my head with negative, limiting thoughts “Pos-o” shoots him with a bow and arrow. “Pos-o” smile gets bigger and I know I am defeating my negative thoughts. It is awesome!

I think the visualization has really helped me be more aware of my thoughts and that I have the power to control my thoughts and what is happening in my life. I have always had the power (and what great POWER!) but I was not using it properly.

If you are looking for the way to make you life better read or watch The Secret . If you want to stay the course with your life then don’t, it probably won’t help you unless you are seeking answers like I was.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today is Father’s Day so I would like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!

Have a great day! (Especially you Doug!)

Seven Random Facts About Me

I was tagged by Julie at Declutter It! to do a meme on seven random facts about me. I have never done one of these before and since my mission this week is to fear nothing, (plus it is only seven random facts, how hard could that be?) so here it goes! Thanks Julie!

  1. I grew up in rural Ohio on a 44 acre farm. Our closest neighbors were over a mile away (and longer if you actually drove on roads to get there). My school district took in almost the entire county and my morning bus commute was one hour long (starting at 6:30 am). That wasn’t so bad, the evening bus commute was one hour and a half (starting at 3 pm). I learned a lot on the bus and I don’t really want to ever get on another bus if I don’t have to.
  2. I have three sisters and no brothers. Yep, there were four of us girls (no cringing!). I am number three. Having all daughters didn’t stop my dad from having sons. He made us learn and do things that boys would do. I am grateful for that. I didn’t always want to do those things but I know I am less afraid now to try new things because of this and I can converse with almost anybody about almost anything.
  3. I played the flute and piccolo in junior high and high school and I believe that I learned everything I needed for life in band. We had a great director (Thanks, Mr. Hartz!). He didn’t just teach us music, he taught us life skills and to be a family. I learned to set goals. Hard work and practice would and did pay off. I learned to be a team member and an individual (the performances would not go well if we didn’t do our individual parts and work together as a team). I learned then to BELIEVE in myself, visualization to manifestation and positive thinking!
  4. Something less serious … horses don’t like me! Every time I get on a horse it runs and knocks me off. Every time!! You might find this strange since you read #1 but as I look back on my childhood I realized farm life wasn’t for me. I was also pecked in the back of the leg by a rooster, had the tip of my finger almost bitten off by a calf and butted by a lamb many times. I live in the city now.
  5. I love dogs and they love me! I don’t have bad experiences with all animals. When I see a puppy I melt inside. I am drawn to dogs and dogs are often drawn to me. I have a red Doberman Pinscher (Lucy) and a Sharpei mix (Jack) that were rescued.
  6. I brew my own beer. My husband and I, well, you could say beer is our hobby. My dad started me on Stroh’s when I was five (it’s not his fault, I begged for a taste of he beer and he thought I would hate … I loved it!). I would not drink Stroh’s, Bud, Miller, Busch, etc., today because they give me a headache. We like full bodied beers “with a lot going on in them” like, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Youngs, Guinness, Thirsty Dog and so many more. Earlier this year my bro-in-law helped set us up with equipment to brew our own. We have successful brewed four batches and I am looking forward to the next 10 more!
  7. I have to finish with my favorite food. Almost anything with cheese and/or bacon . My most favorite food is buttered popcorn. I make my own with the air-popper. I also love microwave style and theater style is probably my favorite. I used to work at a theater, cleaning in the morning before opening. I used to sneak day old popcorn and add extra butter for a snack. It made my day!

I hope you enjoyed those seven very random facts about me, maye you know me a little better now. Now I a get to tag seven people. Here they are: Ev Nucci over at Resource Economics, Cardin Routh over at OptimistLab, J.D. over at Get Rich Slowly, Craig over at Pursuit of Happiness Blog, Wanda Grindstaff over at Creating Abundant Lifestyles, Jennifer Weiner over at Snarkspot and Kara-Leah Masina over at JaneMayBlogs. Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their seven things as well as these rules. They then need to tag seven others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

I wish you great fun! It’s not that hard!
