I am evolving and always learning because “Life is a river, ever changing, you never step in the same river twice”.
This blog is subtitled Blogging the Road Less Traveled because I have chosen different roads in my life than most people take and I want everyone to know that we always have choices, choose with your heart and you will choose happiness.
I have knowledge of many things and I believe that all things are possible. If I want to learn about something or how to do something I go on quest for it (usually to the library or the internet for starters). I believe knowledge is free. Everything you need to know and learn is available to you if you seek it. It will find you if you ask the Universe to bring it to you.
I believe in love and I believe love is all we need. Love brings happiness, joy, peace, hope and more. If you spend anytime with somebody or something you love, time seems to slip away as does the rest of the world. What a great feeling!
I am an artist, painting and creating is one of my many loves. I can paint for hours and time slips away. I spent too many years thinking that I could not make a living doing what I truly love. My new belief it that I can make a fortune doing what I love to do. I will be sharing this love and many others (like reading, laughing, shopping, and helping others) here on my blog.
I am an entrepreneur. I get this from my father (whom I lost after an accident in early 2004), he was self-employed (and worked his butt off) from the age of 17 (he didn’t graduate from high school) to his death at age 59. I learned to dream from my father. I learned to try and learn (fail) and try again. He was always learning something new and teaching everyone around him about it. His excitement about his latest, new knowledge was contagious. Thanks to my dad I am the owner/operator of Heaven Scent Candle Co. I have been in business for about 12 years. I make and sell scented candles and pottery through direct sales (home parties). You can shop at my web site, if you love scented candles you will love these - great prices and refills too!
Most importantly I am a wife, sister, daughter, aunt and, most important, friend! My friends and family mean the world to me. I wouldn’t have anything without them. My husband and I live with my mom now that my dad has passed and I wouldn’t want it any other way. She took care of me when I needed her and now we are helping each other. I have been blessed with great family and friends!
